Jegede and Ogunmola Retire in Grand Style
On Saturday 2nd April, a party was hosted for two venerable officials, Mrs Janet Jegede and Mrs Elizabeth Ogunmola, who recently retired from the civil service.
The retirement party was hosted at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp multipurpose hall, and had in attendance the State Coordinator, Mrs Winifred Shokpeka, Assistant Directors and other camp officials.
In a short address, Shokpeka extolled both Jegede and Ogunmola, thanking them for their meritorious service to the NYSC.
She eulogised the virtues, discipline and commitment displayed by the duo while in active service in Osun State. She called on them to keep up the good work even as they step down from the civil service to the next phase of their lives.
The profiles of both retirees were read, and friends, family and colleagues were invited to give testimonies of the great work that they had done throughout their years of service.
A highlight of the party was the presentation of gifts to the retirees by the State Coordinator on behalf of NYSC officials in the State.
