Your Welfare Is Our Priority - Alhaji Adamu
The Assistant Director Corps Welfare and Health Services, Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu has assured Corps members at the ongoing 2021 Batch A Stream II Orientation exercise that their welfare is a priority to the scheme.
He highlighted the various provisions of the NYSC for Corps members as well as the various health and welfare systems put in place for them.
Adamu further enlightened members on the duties of the Branch which entails ensuring that corps members are been treated right and fair and that they are given access to quality health care services.
Speaking on the leaves available to them, he explained the various kinds of leave and the processes and prerequisites involved.
He added that every Corps member is entitled to just 21 days terminal leave, which is applicable only at the end of their service year.
However, he said there are other leaves Corps members are entitled to such as wedding leave, sick leave, convocation leave and maternity leave.
Finally, he stressed the need for them to avoid frivolous and unauthorised traveling.
