Platoon 4 Emerges Overall Winner of Inter platoon Dance and Drama Competition
The Interplatoon dance and drama competition which featured various interesting performances has ended with platoon 4 emerging the overall winners in the competition.
The Head of Socials, Mrs Olawale Veronica who announced the winners at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede on Wednesday, has told the 2021 Batch A stream II corps members that the essence of the competition was to encourage creativity, hardwork and unity among young people.
Again, she appreciated the efforts of everyone towards the Successful completion of the exercise and encouraged them to maintain same effort throughout the service year.
The result had platoon 2, 4 and 1 emerge as third, second and first position respectively in the drama category, while platoon 8, 1 and 4 were announced the third, second and first winners respectively for the dance competition.
In a related development, the Camp Director, Mrs. Obiageli Okpalifo in her address during the morning meditation, congratulated all platoon especially the top three winners of the interplatoon dance and drama competition for their creativity and the extra efforts put in place to ensure they become winners.
She added that attendance which is also a prerequisite for winning was the reason why some platoons could not win, she therefore encouraged every corps member to participate in all activity on camp even as the orientation course nears its end.
