NYSC OSUN RESUMES COVID -19 VACCINATION

NYSC Osun has resumed the administration of the Covid -19 vaccination after halting the process which commenced in March 2021 at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp Ede due to the unavailability of vaccination materials at its disposal.

The Nysc Osun State Coordinator, Mr Ayodele Adewale Adegoke has expressed his delight at the availability of the Astra Zeneca vaccine once again and has urged corps members and staff across the state to collect the first of the two doses needed for complete protection from the corona virus.

According to him, the directive has come from the Director General, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim, who has the interest of corps members at heart and as such wants to ensure the security of everyone associated with the scheme.

He advised the corps members and staff to leverage on the opportunity provided by the scheme to ensure their absolute victory over the virus.

"Though the vaccine is voluntary, I want to encourage you all to embrace the initiative of the scheme in ensuring the welfare and safety of corps members and staff nationwide"

Again, he urged all who have received their first shot of the vaccine to be patient as the second and final dose will be available in the shortest possible time which will confirm their victory over the virus.

In like manner, he encouraged those skeptical about the safety of the vaccine to have trust in it as it has global and national approval and has proven to be effective.

Furthermore, Adegoke advised all present to partner with NYSC Osun to make the corona virus a thing of the past.

"Let us all work together to make Nigeria safe again", he concluded.

The vaccine is administered across the thirty local government areas of the State and one Area office.
