NYSC DESIGNED TO BUILDING SOUND AND PRODUCTIVE LEADERSHIP- MR ABDULRASHEED

 

The Ag. Director Corps Welfare and Inspectorate Department, NYSC,  Mr Sanusi Abdulrasheed has told the 1150 corps members deployed to Osun State and those dislodged from Lagos, on Tuesday that the NYSC Curriculum is designed to building sound and productive leadership.

He made this statement at the multipurpose hall of the NYSC Permanent Orientation Ede, when he came on an inspection visit of the ongoing 2021 Batch A stream 1 orientation program.

He highlighted the importance of time consciousness as it is vital to ensuring that they are able to participate actively in all activities on camp such as military parade, physical exercise, lectures and Man O' war activities, which he stated all are channeled toward building a healthy and productive leadership skills in the lives of the corps members. 

Furthermore, he reiterated the necessity of corps members to be abreast with latest news within and outside the country as information is key to upward and progressive movement in todays digital age.

 

 Again, Mr Sanusi emphasized on the pertinence of team work in the lives of corps members, which is the soul aim of grouping them into platoons as such will  help them initiate quality ideas that can develop each other and the country at large.

 He pleaded vehemently that  corps members should not embark on adventures such as traveling or going for excursions without a written approval from the state coordinator.

Finally the Ag. Director advised corps members to avoid night travels and to minimize the pace at which they travel to the barest minimum because the roads are bad coupled with the security situation in the country. 

Speaking earlier, the Osun State Coordinator, Mr. Ayodele Adewale Adegoke, gave a brief of activities in the camp since commencement and how well his officers and corps members  have performed.
