MR ADEDEJI SENSITIZES CORPS MEMBERS ON ALLOWANCES

 

Mr Tunde Adedeji of the Account and Finance branch has on Tuesday sensitized the Batch A 2021 Stream 1 corps members on all allowances they are entitled to throughout the course of their service year.

 Mr Adedeji outlined the various financial entitlements of corps members to include Transport allowance, Bicycle allowance, monthly allowance and the state allowance for members who will serve in state owned institutions. The essence of the enlightenment he told them is to ensure that they plan properly in for effective utilization of their resources. 

Again, he spoke on how corps members can access their first monthly allowance in camp and subsequently.

According to him, for them to receive subsequent monthly allowances, Corps members will have to present a clearance letter from their PPA to their local government inspector and do the monthly bio-metrics data capturing showing that they have worked for the month as well as attended the weekly CDS meetings.

 In addition to that, he cautioned them to be very careful and utilize their allowances properly to enable them have some savings. 

" Spend wisely to avoid statements of regrets at the end of your service year", he concluded.
