NYSC OSUN GETS CAMP DECONTAMINATED AHEAD OF ORIENTATION
The National Youth Service Corps, Osun State has on Tuesday decontaminated the State's Permanent Orientation Camp in Ede ahead of the 2020 Batch B stream 2 orientation course. The decontamination was carried out on request of the State Coordinator, Mr Ayodele Adegoke, by the Osun State Ministry of Environment.
The action is channeled towards decontaminating the camp and ensuring it is safe and conducive for the corps members and officials during the orientation programme.
Furthermore, the exercise which is one of the directives from the Director-General, Brig.Gen. Shuaibu Ibrahim was to keep the environment free from viruses and other harmful contaminants.
The Osun State NYSC coordinator, Mr Ayodele Adegoke was deeply appreciative of the collaboration of the ministry with the scheme to ensure that all camp participants are safe amidst the fear of the second wave of COVID-19.
Recall, that the State Coordinator recently had a review meeting with the Ministry of Health and NCDC to further strategise on how to ensure that everyone on camp stays safe during the 2020 Batch B 11 Orientation Programme.
