INTEGRITY AND RESPECT CAN UPLIFT YOU BEYOND IMAGINATION - OBA ADEDAPO TELLS CORPS MEMBERS.
The Olojudo of Ido-Osun,Alayemore Oba Architect Aderemi Adeen Adedapo has told the 2020 Batch B stream 1B Corps members to uphold respect and integrity as this can uplift them beyond imagination.
Oba Aderemi said this while addressing the corps members during the traditional lecture at the multipurpose hall of the NYSC permanent orientation camp, Ede.
According to Oba, Culture is dynamic but all cultures values respect and integrity, hence the corps members should wear the respect and integrity like an armour in order to have a successful service year.
Speaking further, the Oba advised the corps members to 'think out of the box' and never relent in making efforts to achieve their goals.
"Make use of your skills to develop the Nation rather than depend on white collar Job", he added.
He further admonished the corps members on the need to make security their utmost priority as this is not only beneficial to them but also to those around them.
"Do not go out at night, choose your friends wisely, and adhere to the rules and regulations guiding your host community", he said.
In Addition, the Royal Majesty emphasized on the need for women in Africa to be duly educated stressing that for Africa to develop there is a need for gender equality.
Subsequently, he said that humans are complex and encouraged the corps members to love one another regardless of their tribes, religion and belief.
In Conclusion, The Oba prayed for a successful and fun filled service year for corps members.
