General Joe Charges Prospective Corps Members to be Proactive and Security Conscious
General Joe Komolafe Rtd. has charged the 2020 Batch B Stream 1B prospective corps members to be proactive and security conscious at all times.
He made this statement while addressing them at the second security lecture at the multipurpose hall of the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede, on Monday.
General Joe implored the prospective corps members to respect other people's culture as this is also a good way of creating a cordial relationship with the people in one's host community.
"respect others culture because they may be the ones to save you when the need arises", he said.
He further explained the sources of threats in Nigeria, Which includes; insurgency, kidnapping and cyber crime as he warned them to beware of who they mingle with.
Subsequently, he admonished the prospective corps members to make friends with their local security because they serve as first aid when one is exposed to danger in their locality.
Conclusively, he reminded the corps members that people of Osun are very loving, peaceful and accommodating.
