"There are Opportunities in Nigeria, Be Patient and Focused"-- Mrs Oladipo Fabishola Advises Corps Members

The Representative of the Commander, National Agency for The Prohibition of Traffic In Persons, Mrs Oladipo Fabisola Eunice on Tuesday, implored the 2020 Batch A and B Stream 1A Corps members to be patient and focused in everything they do.

She said this while sensitising the Corps members at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede, Osun State.

During the sensitization, she enlightened the Corps members on the different means, act, causes and sources of human trafficking and the painful consequences that comes with engaging, indulging or falling a victim of it.

Further more, she pleaded that corps members should not allow themselves to be carried away by the desire to get wealthy, peer pressure, smooth talkers. She also advised them on the need to ask questions before taking any action.

Meanwhile, she said that although women are more vulnerable to human trafficking, men are also at risk of being trafficked; advising them therefore, to be careful and do things properly.

Concluding, she said NAPTIP is a fight against foreign travels for the exploitation of persons, urging Corps members to educate others about Human Trafficking.
