"Osun State Places High Significance On Education"- Mrs Adeoye

The representative of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Osun State, Mrs Adeoye Oyebola said Osun State places high significance on education.

She made the statement during the professional orientation on teaching at the Permanent Orientation Camp Ede, Osun state.

During the lecture she emphasized on the importance of  teaching as a factor of growth that leads to development of future leaders and further informed the 2020 Batch A and B stream 1A corps members that teaching is one of the most noble profession in the world, and as such teachers are seen as surrogate parents in schools.

Meanwhile, she  advised corps members to be good role models to students and adhere to school protocols. She also admonished them to avoid harassing students and work towards building a good relationship with the community as well as relating with others in their assigned communities.

"Teaching is a noble profession, do not mar it by indulging in act of bullying, extorting, raping", she said.

In conclusion she urged the Corps members to serve diligently , be good ambassadors and avoid any act that will bring shame upon them.
