Nigeria Society of Engineers Orientates Corps Members on Values of Engineering

The Chairman, Nigerian Society of Engineers, Osogbo Branch, Engr. Wale Alonge, MNSE, has on Wednesday enlightened the 2020 Batch A and B stream 1A corps members on the value and purpose of Engineering.

Speaking at the multipurpose hall of the Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede, Engr. Wale told Corps members that before they can embark on any engineering project, they have to be registered members of the body for at least four years.

He further said that becoming a good Engineer is based solely on knowledge in mathematics and science and also embedded in the ability to identify and solve problems which has the potential and capacity to promote growth of the society and Nation at large.

In addition, he told the corps members to endeavour to be creative and ensure that they think of things that will promote their host community during their service year.

"You do not have to focus on big projects but important projects that will be very vital and beneficial to your host community", he concluded.
