Adekanbi Ibukunoluwa of Platoon 2 Crowned Miss Petite

 

 Corps member Adekanbi Ibukunoluwa of Platoon 2 has been crowned Miss Petite for the 2020 Batch A and B stream 1A orientation course.

The contest which was keenly contested took on Thursday at the Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede.

The Camp Director, Mr Jimmy Fatogun who spoke during the contest, enjoined the corps members to always be proud of who they are and appreciate God for creating them the way they are.

Speaking  further, Mr Jimmy admonished the corps members to be an ambassador of discipline, honesty, unity and peace.


Earlier, the Head of Socials, Mrs Veronica Olawale appreciated the corps members who participated in the contest, stressing that it is a memory that will be relived forever.

She further encouraged them to keep soaring high in all their endeavors and ensure that they be of good behavior and not relent in showing the world their ability because it can play a significant role in their lives. 

Subsequently, the contest featured representatives of the eight platoons who came out in their beautiful attires for the intro, first and second appearance respectively. Thereafter, their mental capabilities was tested in a question and answer session. 

The Judges who observed critically and undistracted crowned representative of  platoon 2, Adekanbi Ibukunoluwa Miss Petite, as representative of platoon 1 and platoon 6 emerged third and second position respectively.

Conclusively, all the contestants who participated in the contest went home with amazing consolation prizes such as single and double-face burners, hair dryers, while the Miss Petite winner went home with 8kg gas cylinder.
