"Desist From Exam Malpractices" Corps Members Urge Students.
In line with campaigning against exams malpractices and other related acts in the state and nation at large, the Anti-corruption CDS group Osogbo, have recently staged it's campaign at the Girls Baptist School Osogbo, in a bid to create vast awareness.
The group's president, Mr Abdulaheed while giving his address, related the neccessity of the campaign to the students as he further exposed the workings and archievements of the group in combating corruption over the years.
He further noted that "corruption is not limited to public office holders only as anyone can be part of corruption irrespective of the class they belong to".
The sensitization which exposed the students to the realization that exam malpractice is also a form of corruption featured lecture sessions by corps members in a bid to clarify the concept to aid their better understanding that there are no short cuts to success.
Accordingly, Corps members took turns in sensitizing the students with emphasis being laid on the need to desist from such acts as the dangers, consequences and possible sanctions were made known to the students while stressing that examination malpractice is an improper or unethical conduct towards achieving good grades.
Speaking with our correspondence, one of the students related her stand on the issue while commending the corps members on their vital impacts."Examination malpractice is not good and we want all students to join us in saying No To Examination Malpractices" she added.
