Sensitization at it's Peak As Corps members Enlighten Students on Lassa Fever and Corona Virus.
The National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA) Community Development service group has recently sensitized students of Plants and Pillars College, Ososgbo on Lassa Fever and Corona Virus.
The President of the group, Corper Agwu Uma in his opening address, briefed the students on the cardinal objectives of the group as he further revealed the essence of the sensitisation.
He recognized the NESREA officials there present while appreciating the school's management for the awesome opportunity being granted.
During the session, students were duly exposed to the concept of laser fever, it's symptoms and stages, as preventive measures were also made available in tackling the menace.
Accordingly the corona virus menace wasn't left out as Babarinde segun duly sensitized the students on its origin and dangers while proffering preventive measures that could help curb the van spread of the virus "This virus originated from China. It is a deadly disease. Before the virus reaches the lung it will take a duration of four days" he added.
Furthermore, Mr Olaleye a facilitator from NESREA Sensitized the students about the agency as he revealed the mission of NESREA with emphasis being laid on enforcing and regulating environmental laws.
Meanwhile, Corper Agwu Uma implored the school authority to create a social or environmental club that will act as an environmental vanguard, as waste bins were graciously donated to the school to compliment a clean environment.
