CORPS MEMBERS ENLIGHTEN STUDENTS, MARKETERS, ON PREMARITAL SEX, DRUG ABUSE AND LASSA FEVER
Corps members from the Freedom of Information Act Community Development Service (CDS) group, Odo-Otin Local Government Area, have sensitised the people of Odo-Otin on the effect of premarital sex on education.
The event took place om Thursday at the Shekinah College, Ilesa.
The corps members enjoined parents and stakeholders in education to pay strict attention to their wards as premarital sex can mar a child's education.
As part of the responsibilties of corps members to impact on their Local communities, the corps members went further to intimate the community on the effect of hard drugs, lassa fever and preventive mesures against the deadly disease.
In the same vein, Vanguards in Olorunda also stormed the popular Igbona market to enlighten the marketers on the existence of FOIA which gives them access to public information and record from public office and also the right to demand for good governance.
Meanwhile, vanguards in Osogbo and Orolu, on Thursday, respectively rallied against the deadly lassa fever with marketers as their main target and sensitised students on FOIA, its provisions and also on how to make right choices as students.
