*Osun NYSC State Coordinator Pays Condolence Visit to Family of deceased Prospective Corps Member*
The NYSC State Coordinator of Osun State, Mr. Adewale Adegoke on Monday paid a condolence visit to the family of a prospective corps member, Fakayode Oluwatosin Jacob.
Fakayode Oluwatosin who graduated with 3.56(Distinction credit) in Mass Communication from the Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State lost his life alongside other prospective corps members in a ghastly motor accident along Mokwa road, Niger State on their way to NYSC camp in Kastina for Batch C stream II orientation.
Speaking in Iwo, Osun State, to the parent of the deceased, Mr. Adegoke described the death of Oluwatosin Fakayode as a great loss to Nigeria.
Mr. Adegoke with other NYSC officials prayed for restoration and comfort to the family and other families involved.
The State Coordinator further encouraged the families not to lose their joy but in every situation giving thanks to God Almighty, who is the author and finisher of our faith.
The parent appreciated the scheme for their love and support. They prayed for the safety of the corps members, who would be embarking on journeys to their various destinations after the orientation course.
The State Coordinator also brought greetings from the Director-General of NYSC, Brig General Shuaibu Ibrahim who had earlier admonished corps members against unauthorized and late-night travelings.
