INEC Charges Corps Members To Be Ambassadors For Good Electoral Process The Voters Education Community

A Community Development Service (CDS) group, under the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Osogbo Local Government Area, has charged corps members to be ambassadors for good electoral process.



The CDS group made this call as they took the message of participation to the 2019 Batch C stream 2 Corps Members at NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Ede, State of Osun.
While speaking at the sensitization program, the president of the group, Mr. John Emmanuel, admonished the corps members on the essence of becoming an ambassador of the commission, as he further enlightened them on the importance of good electoral process to Nigeria’s democracy.



Emmanuel also revealed the opportunities that accompanied  being a member of the team, adding that the volunteering service provides exposure to electoral processes, inclusion in electoral process, letter of recommendation from the commission, certificate of participation from Westminster Foundation for Democracy among others.
He then urged the youths and citizens of the country to be advocates of democracy while embracing good electoral processes such as one man, one vote.
