*Oduduwa University donates food items, Reiterates More Support For The NYSC Scheme*
Dr Rahmon Adedoyin, the Chancellor, Oduduwa University, Ipetumodu Ile Ife, has reiterated the institution's support for the NYSC scheme describing it as a unifying agent uniting graduates from all walks of life under the umbrella of the one-year mandatory service to the nation.
The Chancellor who was represented by two of his Special Assistants, Comrade. (Dr) B. O Ifonedo and Mr Aloba I. F paid a visit to the State Coordinator at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede, Osun State on Monday 18th November, 2019.
The Chancellor appreciated the scheme for staying true to its objectives of instilling discipline in the Nigerian graduate youths, training and grooming them for the task of nation building and also to be self-reliant. While donating bags of rice and a 25ltr of vegetable oil, the Chancellor stressed that the institution will continue to work in synergy with the scheme in the achievements of its objectives in the State.
Meanwhile the NYSC Osun State Coordinator, Mr Ayodele Adegoke has expressed profound gratitude to the institution for its donation towards the success of the orientation programme and for reiterating more support to the scheme in the State.
Adegoke further appreciated the Chancellor's promise to pay the corps members a visit to share from his wealth of experience, in order to motivate them towards hardwork and industry which according to him is the pathway to success in life.
