NTA GENERAL MANAGER ASSURES NYSC OF ADEQUATE COVERAGE AND PUBLICITY

The General Manager, National Television Authority (NTA) Osun State, Alhaji Amusa Waheed has assured the NYSC of adequate coverage and publicity of all its activities in the State.

  Amusa made this known while receiving the State Coordinator, Mr Ayodele Adegoke and his entourage in his office in Osogbo.

    Amusa commended the National Youth Service Corps for a job  well done in the mobilization of the youth to contribute their quota to the development of the nation. He further noted that corps members have formed the nucleus of the instrument of nation building.

 The General Manager also stated that corps members serving with the station have being carrying out their assignments like regular staff of the station. He added further that the contribution of corps members to nation building cannot be over emphasized.
He thereafter pledged his support and assistance to the scheme  in the State.

Earlier,  the State Coordinator of NYSC, Mr Ayodele Adegoke appreciated the agency for hosting them at such a short notice and said further that the visit was geared towards strenghtening the existing relations between the NYSC and NTA  as they are partners in progress.

  He called for a greater working synergy through adequate coverage and publicity of the scheme's programmes in the State which according to him " will go a long way in enlightening the general populace of the activities and milestones of  the NYSC  and thereby prepare the minds of parents and prospective corps members for the service year".

   Adegoke appreciated the General Manager and his management team on behalf of the Director General of the scheme,  Brig. Gen. Shuiabu Ibrahim, for their support in the past and subsequently.
