LITTLE THINGS MATTERS IN GIVING says RESIDENT OFFICER, ORPHANAGE HOME
It was a moment of excitement and and sober reflection as members of the Charity CDS group in Olorunda local government paid a courtesy visit to the Children
Rehabilitation Centre on Wednesday, 28th August 2019.
As part of their selfless service to humanity, the CDS President, Ayodeji Ayobami stated that the courtesy visit was a means to extend their hands of charity to the less priviledged by gathering relevant items in order to meet the needs of the children. He further called on the society to bear in minds the needs of these ones so they do not get neglected.
The resident officer, at the orphanage home, Mrs Aderemi in her remark, appreciated the group for the items given noting that some of the children suffer lot of defects such as mental retardation, loss of eye sight, hearing impairment and the likes.
She further enjoined corps members to pay regular visits either individually, with churches or other organizations in order to meet the needs of the children, adding that some of the children are undergoing various levels of schooling and would really need assistance to support them.
