"BE ACQUAINTED WITH THE YORUBA LANGUAGE" - Mrs Caroline Charges Osun Corps Members
The head of lectures, Mrs. Caroline Adenle has enlightened the 2019 Batch B stream II Corps Members deployed to Osun State on the need to learn the Yoruba language in a Yoruba land. She gave this enlightenment during the language study at the camp's auditorium in Ede, on Wednesday, 28th August 2019.
During the session, the speaker conducted a brief language training exercise with the corps members while educating them that as corps members serving in the State, it was pertinent for them to be fully acquainted with the Yoruba language. As According to her everyone should be able to learn the indigenous language of any society one finds his or herself.
Speaking further, she highlighted some major benefits relating to her topic of discourse.
She concluded by stating that language has a major role to play in the development of the individual and the nation at large and therefore charged the corps members to submit themselves to learning.
