OSUN REGISTERS 2600 CORPS MEMBERS FOR THE 2019 BATCH B ORIENTATION COURSE

In every stage of life is a new beginning. Therefore,  Youths obeying the clarion call is the new tenet which corps members have been called to obey.

Governor State of Osun, Mr Gboyega Oyetola made the assertion at the swearing-in and official opening ceremony of the 2019 Batch B corps members at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede.

The Governor who was represented by the Deputy Governor of the State, Mr Benedict Gboyega Alabi commended the newly sworn-in corps members for their zeal in serving their fatherland as they are the link to the past,  present and future generation.

Oyetola enjoined the corps members to see the Oath of Allegiance as a way to develop the nation and also channel their zeal, power and idea into building the nation.

He encouraged them to see their service year as an opportunity to build sustainable relationships irregardless of their ethical, religious and social background.

In his words,  the State Coordinator of NYSC, Mr Adegoke Ayodele, disclosed that a total of 2,600 corps members comprising 1,430 males and 1,170 females were registered for the Batch.

Adegoke called on the corps members to see their deployment to the state as a blessing and avenue to explore the richness of culture in the state.
He urged them to build strong friendships among themselves during the course of the orientation and after.

The state Coordinator further appealed to the state Government to support in the infrastructural development of the camp and also to reconsider the scheme's  request for a befitting office complex within the state capital.
