EFFORTS TO ERADICATE HIV/AIDS AND STDs INTENSIFY

Ahead of the December 1, 2018 world AIDS  day celebration, corps members have been advised to abstain from unprotected sex in order not to contract deadly diseases.

The president of Charity community  development service (CDS) group Mr.Enoch Igbigbi,give the advice during a general CDs meeting organized by the group to sensitize corps members on the dangers of unprotected sexual intercourse, at the  Local government Secretariat in Oke-baale, Osogbo.

The sensitization which had in it's theme (Dangers of Unprotected Sex) witnessed a large number of corps members in attendance.

Addressing the corps members,Mr.Igbigbi,said it is necessary for partners to have knowledge of their health status before indulging in sex so
to prevent one's self from unwanted pregnancy,HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases.

He stressed the need for individuals to undergo regular medical checkup that will help them know their status and stick to one partner.
