AJAYI CHARGES CORPS MEMBERS TO PRESERVE THEIR IDENTITY

The 2018 Batch C stream II corps members have been charged to preserve their identity. This charge was made by the Retired Director, Special Duties, Venerable Akinolu Temitope Ajayi, at the Permanent Orientation Camp Ede.

Venerable Ajayi who started his motivational talk by asking the members what they would want to be to be remembered for in Osun State, charged them to guide their uniforms jealously as it has become their identity for the next one year.

While expatiating on thus assertion, Venerable stated that " your uniform identifies you as a corps member wherever you go. Therefore, let your conduct reflect your identity as graduates and as corps members". He added " corps members who where careless with their identity in the past paid dearly for it. Therefore, do not give your uniform or identity to just anyone".

Ajayi stressed that challenges, associations, etc will come to challenge their identity but they should always remember to protect their names and never give their personality to somebody else by imitating wrong behaviour or lifestyle.

Speaking on the election, he emphasised on the need for the members to be apolitical. He said, " you can engage one another in intelligent political discussions but always ensure you are not partisan even in your discussions ".

He further enjoined the corps members to put on discipline, integrity and respect at their various places of primary assignments.
