YOU ARE ACCOUNTABLE FOR YOUR DECISIONS DURING POLL, AREGBESOLA TELLS CORPS MEMBERS

The Governor, state of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf  Aregesola  has said that corps members are responsible for all their decisions during the forth coming election in the State.

The governor, who was represented by the Commissioner for youth engagement and  emprowerment, Mrs. Mofolake Adegboyega, made this known today during the closing ceremony of the batch B stream 2, 2018 corps members at the permanent orientation camp Ede.

Governor Aregbesola, while delivering his address advised the corps members to see youth service in the state as an opportunity to develop themselves and their fatherland.

He urged them to respect the culture of their host communities, while maintaining that Osun state is peaceful and her citizens are hospitalable.

The governor further enjoined the corps members to always protect the image of the scheme and wished them a fruitful and productive service year.

Also, in his farewell address,  the state coordinator, national Youth service scheme, Osun state, Mr Emmanuel Attah, called for better conditions for corps members during the poll and maintained that the scheme will mete out appropriate punishment to any corps member who goes against the electoral laws.

Mr Attah further informed the general public of the neutrality of the scheme in the forth coming poll and pointed out that the newly constructed camp clinic will serve corps members and the host community.

The state coordinator further applauded the comportment of the corps members just as he wished them success in their various places of primary assignments.
