NYSC SAED EXHIBITION: PLATOONS COMPETE IN STYLE IN OSUN CAMP

The Skills acquisition programme of the National Youth Service, Osun state, today, held the grand finale of inter-platoon Skills acquisition exhibition.

Speaking during the event which took place at the permanent orientation camp, Ede, the head of Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) Mrs Olutayo Samuel, noted that the corps members have been trained in various skills, such as Agro allied, fashion, ICT, Food processing among others.

In her closing remarks, she encouraged the corps members to utilize the programme to acquire a skill for self reliance, while also encouraging them to key into post camp training.

Also, a beneficiary of the training, Alozie Ikenna, while displaying his product, noted that the Skill acquisition programme has been helpful, just as he thanked the NYSC officials for putting up the programme.

The event saw the display of various products made by corps members and presentation of awards to the best platoons.
