SSA TO GOVERNOR ADMONISHES TRADERS TO ENSURE CLEAN MARKET ENVIRONMENT

The Senior Special Adviser to the governor state of Osun on Sustainable Development Goals, Dr Kareem Olajoku, has admonished market men and women to always maintain clean environments before engaging in trading activities.

Dr Olajoku made this known during an outreach organized by the SDGs community Development group.

In an attempt to achieve the 6th Developmental goal which is 'clean water and sanitation, he Joined the group in Igbona market sanitation exercise, while stressing that failure of traders to maintain clean environment may result in the contamination of the goods they have for sale.

The group president, Miss Rashidat Iganyi, stated that the purpose of the outreach was to sensitize the public on the importance of their health and cleanliness at all times, adding that subsequent outreaches  will be carried out.

The group further paid a visit to the Iya Oloja of Igbonna market who prayed and appreciated them for their efforts towards keeping clean environments.
