NYSC BANS SMOKING OF CIGARETTES IN ORIENTATION CAMPS

Smoking within the orientation camp premises is officially banned, for this reason, sales of cigarettes is prohibited throughout the three weeks orientation course period. 

The ban, which is in line with the ministry of health's policy that prohibits smoking in public places is contained in a circular released by NYSC, Abuja.

The Osun NYSC state coordinator, Mr Emmanuel Attah, made this known during a meeting with the scheme's collaborating agencies, in preparation for the 2018 Batch 'B' orientation exercise at the NYSC secretariat, Omo -west Osogbo.

                           

Mr Attah, while addressing the NYSC officials, charged them to strategize and Synergize to ensure smooth running of the exercise. 

He equally urged them to shun over socialization with corps members and make discipline their watch word.
