QUALITY EDUCATION IS KEY, SDG GROUP TELLS STUDENTS

The Sustainable Development Goals CDS group of Orolu Local Government, Osun state, has charged Students and the general public to strive for quality education.

This charge was given during a sensitization programme organised for pupils and students of Orolu community middle school, Ifon.

Speaking on quality education, the President of the group, Comrade Ernest Onuagwu, identified quality education  as one of the key points  of  sustainable  development goals, while maintaining that education  is key for national development.

Also speaking were members of the group who took turns in speaking to the students  on educational topics, just as they enjoined  the students  to be more diligent in their studies.

Commending the efforts of the group, the principal  of the school, who was represented  by the Vice principal, Mrs Rachael Oshunola, encouraged corps members to organise more educational programmes, so as to ensure a better Nigeria.
