OUTGOING BATCH A CORPS MEMBERS RETURN APPRECIATION TO GOD





The Outgoing Batch A corps members of the editorial board community development service group has held a thanksgiving ceremony to show gratitude for a prosperous service year.

The thanksgiving ceremony, held on Sunday, February, 6th at The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pentecost Modern Parish, Osogbo, sighted excited outgoing members of the Editorial Board show gratitude for a successful service year. 

They came out in their numbers and thanked God in worship, praises and dancing for good health, grace & strength to have gone through the NYSC service year and completed it.

The outgoing Editor in Chief of the Editorial Board, John Ukeko, appreciated God and thanked Him for his faithfulness throughout the service year in sound mind and good health.

"We saw a lot of our mates fall by the wayside, some died, others absconded but He gave us the grace to pull through. God, in his faithful deeds, helped and preserved us through our service to the editorial board and the nation at large" - he added.

He appreciated the editorial board coordinators for building them up with knowledge and skills that money can't buy.

The thanksgiving ceremony ended with the parish pastors and editorial coordinator Mrs Catherine Otemuyiwa wishing the outgoing board members the best as they begin a new phase of their lives.

In addition, the Muslim brothers and sisters of the editorial board were not left out of the thanksgiving mood, as they too showed appreciation to Allah for the success of their service year in their respective mosques.

The thanksgiving ceremony had in attendance, Ehigozie Ofure, former Editor in chief of the board.
