YOUTHS MUST BE TAUGHT EARLY ON ROAD SAFETY EDUCATION - Arc. S.O Lawal

Pursuant on the need to reposition, strengthen and sustain road safety programmes among Nigerian students with the purpose of inculcating road safety ethics at the early stage, FRSC NYSC Road Safety Club members of Olorunda RS11.1 Osun Sector Command, were led by the Station Officer in-charge of Olorunda Local Government Station Office, ARC S.O Lawal to sensitize students of St. James Grammar School, Ayetoro and A.D.S Grammar School Testing Ground Area, Osogbo on basic road safety etiquettes.

The students were taken through basic traffic drills, road signs, and traffic rules pedestrians must observed to ensure their safety on the highways.

“If there’s any level road safety education should start from, it should be to young school children. That way, as they grow, they’ll become conscious of this precautions” said Michael Godspower the Cadet in Chief who organized the team.

Gift items including Note books, pen, pencil , meter rule etc. were given out to the students by the Cadet in Chief - Michael Godspower in order to applaud them for participating in the question & answer section they threw at them.

The School managements applauded FRSC for bringing the program to their School expressing their gratitude as they reached out to educate their school children.
