ECC Fulfils Promise, Donates Cow To NYSC Osun

The Acting Commander Engineer Construction Command, Nigeria Army, Ede, Lt. Col. I O Erhabor has donated a cow to the NYSC Osun State at the ongoing 2021 Batch C Stream 1 Orientation Course. 

The donation which was made in the early hours of Sunday was in fulfilment of the promise made during the courtesy visit of  the State Coordinator, Mrs Winifred Shokpeka to the Command recently. 

During the presentation, the Acting Commander, Lt. col. IO Erhabor who was ably represented by the Camp Commandant, Capt. O Oyekanmi, stated that the Command's redemption of the promise made was a way of synergising and identifying with the Scheme in the training and grooming of the youths. 

"The army and the NYSC are an inseparable duo and we'll try as much as we can to synergize with you to ensure continual success of the Scheme in the State", he stated.

The State Coordinator, Mrs Winifred Shokpeka, in her response, expressed her profound gratitude to the Acting Commander for fulfilling his promise to the Scheme, stating that such act of generosity will go a long way in improving the welfare of corps members and also encourage them in the right way.

"As I promised, the head of the cow will be given back to the Commander", she concluded.
