A CRITICAL ANALYSIS INTO THE PROGRESS OF NIGERIA AT 61
Our new flag was raised high as the tears of joy rolled down the cheeks of our country men. Surely our Heroes fought with all their strength and victory has come.
Our mothers sang the song of victory as our fathers danced. Our youths felt the time has come for them shine.
These and Many more was the hope that came with the first day in Of October 1960 when our motherland Nigeria gained independence.Maybe they wouldn't have danced much, maybe they Would have saved their strength for better endeavors had they Known they were jumping from frying pan to fire.
Sixty one years later we are struggling to point out things to be happy about as politics, religion, tribalism, and wickedness Keep hunting us as preys.
We are sad people. Securing the lives and property of her citizens is the first Priority of any country, but reversed is the case in Nigeria as we are been kidnapped, our crops are been damaged on the field, our children Can no longer attend classes in schools, our territories are been conquered by terrorists and of course the few security persons we have are the ones guarding the homes of our heartless politicians. Our economy is nothing to write about, our currency is one of the Least valued in the world market, thing are expensive, salaries are not enough to maintain our homes.
Market women are lamenting.civil servants are weeping.and our fresh graduate are jobless yet we suffer and smile.Words can't explain our damaged things are, our dear country keeps moving backwards every second.
I wonder why our leaders have refused to equip our health centers and treat our medical practitioners well and yet they go abroad to receive treatment Spending tax payers money to enrich the greedy purses of foreign doctors.
Our doctors here go on strike as if it is an exercise to upgrade their knowledge and the government will never pay attention to it.
Our hospitals are death traps With little or no advanced equipments. It keeps getting worse every day. Normally in a sane country people are free to come out and express their dissatisfaction about happenings around in a peaceful civilised protest but reverse is the case in Nigeria as our uniform men are ready to open fire on our citizens just to feed the ego of their political taskmasters.
I write from as an Ordinary man who is also a victim of these wickedness.
We can pray and fast all we want,we can complain if that will make us feelbetter.some people are even clamoring for division. See it as you will but Nigeria needs an urgent solution before this country turns to once upon a time....
