LOVE IS NOT ENOUGH!

 What is love? Love is an intense feeling of affection or a deep abiding liking for something or someone 

 As what many believe to be love, many of us idealize love. We see it as some lofty cure for all life's problem.

Our stories, histories, movies, celebrate or puts so much emphasis on love as the most important goal in life and forget other core values like care, trust, sincerity etc.

Love is overestimated because you see some saying he or she loves a person and still inflict pain on them. Like stories where a man says he loves a lady and still raises his hands to beat that lady and inflict pain on her. Because they think when there is love, everything is ok and other things are neglected.

You can't talk about love and not talk about giving. Any one that loves must give. Some profess love and don't see it worthy to give to one they say they love.

Love is never enough for everything we look out for even for a healthy relationship, it requires more than love to grow.

Love should be an umbrella that conveys all other qualities like sacrifice, commitment, and selfless services.

 

When we idolize love, it causes unrealistic expectations, when you love, you should also give, respect, care and input other fundamental values so as not to sabotage what we hold on to.

Only then, would love be enough.
