MR TAOFEEK SENSITIZES CORPS MEMBERS ON RELOCATION
The Assistant Director Deployment and Relocation Branch, NYSC Osun State, Mr Taofeek Lawal has sensitized corps members on the modul operandi of the Branch.
While addressing the 2021 Batch A Stream 2 corps members at the multipurpose hall of the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede, he stated that the main function of the unit is to ensure the successful and equitable distribution of corps members to all States of the federation and FCT and also to ensure the posting of corps members to places of primary assignments inline with the posting policies of the scheme and the needs of the State of deployment.
Speaking on the Relocation arm of the Branch, Mr Lawal enlightened the corps members on the conditions for relocation. He said that for those relocating, the request must be based on either marital grounds for female corps members or on health grounds.
He advised corps members applying for relocation not to produce fake health reports or marital certificates in order to process their relocation as such acts attracts stiff penalty from the scheme.
On the posting of corps members, he added that posting is guided by request from corps employers, national interest and Interest of the State and therefore corps members should not try to influence their postings.
Mr. Lawal emphasised in closing that postings and relocations are absolutely free and should not be paid for neither in cash nor kind.
