Mr Fagbemi Sensitizes Corps Members on Relevance of SERVICOM
The NYSC Osun State SERVICOM Schedule Officer, Mr Fagbemi Gbenga has sensitized the 2021 Batch A Stream II Corps Members on the importance of SERVICOM to the society.
In addressing his audience at the Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede on Monday, he explained that SERVICOM is gotten from two words: service and compact which is geared towards bringing the people closer to the government. He said this is achieved by being readily available to listen to complaints and as well suggestions for improvement.
Furthermore, he stated that without good service, no job can be delivered well. He therefore urged everyone to feel free to make formal complaints or suggestions to the group at any given time.
Again, he highlighted the aims of SERVICOM to include: provision of quality service to the people, ensure good leadership, educate the citizens on their rights and to empower public officers to provide improved, efficient, timely and transparent service.
He went further to tell corps members to ensure compliance to all camp rules by not defacing of the NYSC uniform, dressing appropriately at all times and to avoid unruly behaviors.
