Drama is an Artistic Display of Information - Camp Director

 

The Camp Director, 2021 Batch A Stream II Mrs Obiageli Okpalifo has informed Corps members  that drama is an Artistic display of information designed to bring about a mental transformation in the  viewers.

She made this known at the commencement of the interplatoon dance and drama competition at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede on tuesday.

According to her, the dance and drama presentation is designed to develop creativity, imbibe cultural values and embibe team spirit which is geared towards achieving a common goal. She encouraged all present therefore to commit themselves fully in order to produce quality performances.

In concluding her address, she urged the corps members to watch the performances not just for fun but to desire to pick valuable life lessons which will make them better.

The competition started with the performances of Platoon 9 and 2 in drama and Platoon 2 and 6 in dance.
