COMMISSIONER OF POLICE FULFILS SECURITY PROMISE TO NYSC

 

The Commissioner of Police Osun State Command Olawale T.Olokode has fulfilled his promise of making available adequate security to NYSC Osun during the ongoing orientation course to ensure the safety of all corps members and camp officials.

In line with his promise, the CP deployed amoured tanks and patrol vans around Ede camp on Wednesday to patrol the camp frequently and ensure that there is no security breach on camp and as well ensure that all resident in camp go about their activities with a relaxed mind free from all forms of fear and anxiety.

According to the CP, the issue of security in Nigeria is very paramount concerning the high level atrocities perpertrated by hoodlums and the police force is fully committed to carrying out its duties to ensure that Nigeria is safe again. He further reiterated his willingness to help in whatsoever capacity he is needed.

The NYSC Osun State Coordinator, Mr Ayodele Adegoke has expressed his gratitude to the police force for the show of solidarity and utmost support. He thanked CP Olawale for his commitment to ensuring the security of corps members deployed to the State and pledged to ensure that the police team on ground are properly cared for.

Furthermore, he urged all camp officials to partner with the police team to ensure the smooth running of all camp operations during the course of the orientation exercise.
