Do Not Deface The NYSC Uniform - Camp Director Tells PCMs

The Camp Director 2021 Batch A stream II orientation course, Mrs  Okpalifo Obiageli has admonished prospective corps members to always put on the NYSC uniform properly on camp.

According to her, dressing is a core part of the scheme because it provides an opportunity for adequate identification wherever corps members may find themselves. Therefore there is a need to stick to the stipulated dress code.

"PCMs are expected to be in their daily wears which includes white shirt, shorts, socks and white shoes during camp activities. The NYSC Jackets should be properly worn without the sleeves folded or tied around the waist.Defaulting PCMs will be punished accordingly" she added.

Speaking further, she reassured PCMs of the peace and stability of the camp community stating that there are adequate security personnels on ground to make sure that their stay throughout the orientation camp remains peaceful.

Again, she highlighted some major activities such as physical training, lectures, skill acquisition and entrepreneurship development,  social activities planned for the duration of the camp and enjoined PCMs to participate fully in all the programs not forgetting to mingle and develop meaningful friendships.

Finally, she reminded corps members to always adhere to the COVID -19 rules and regulations in other to ensure their safety and that of others on camp.

Other highlights of the event includes: health tips by Dr Ahmed Abdulkareem, the Resident Doctor from OAUTH; morning news and meditation by the Orientation Broadcasting Service Crew and the birthday celebratory dance.
