CAMP DIRECTOR SENSITIZES PCMS ON CAMP RULES AND REGULATIONS
The Camp Director 2021 Batch A Stream II, Mrs Okpalifo Obiageli has sensitized prospective corps members on the set of rules and regulations that must guide their conducts and behaviour during the three weeks orientation exercise.
She gave the sensitization at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede on Wednesday during the first morning meditation for the batch.
According to her, rules and regulations are the driving force behind the success of any organization. She charged PCMs therefore to adhere strictly to COVID-19 protocols, which include:putting on of face mask, observing social distancing and that of washing of of the hands.
" Obedlience and respect to constituted authority is vital for peaceful coexistence on camp" she added.
On the issue of safety, she urged everyone to be security conscious because security is everybody's business and as such they should endeavour to report every abnormal activity to the camp officials.
Speaking further, she said PCMs are also expected to maintain cleanliness in their hostels and also on camp. In similar fashion, those with any health challenges should ensure that they inform the medical officials inorder not to experience casualties in camp.
Conducively, she welcomed all PCMs warmly to the state and encouraged to enjoy their stay in the State not forgetting to contribute meaningful to the progress of the scheme.
Other highlights of the event includes: the teaching of the NYSC anthem, Omoluabi anthem, recitation of the National prayer and the family song by the Assistant Chief PRO Mrs Catherine Otemuyiwa.
