All Corps members Will be Treated Equally -Megwa

The NYSC Lagos State Coordinator, Mr Eddy Megwa, has assured the 2021 Batch A stream II Corps members dislodged from Lagos to Osun State that everyone will be treated equally.

This he said when he paid an unscheduled visit on the Corps members at the Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede on Monday.

Mr Eddy made it clear that posting of Corps members to their various places of primary assignment will not be based on connections or biased in any form and asked the dislodged corps members to possess good self esteem as well as know their worth in the society.

According to Megwa, the essence of his visit was to check up on the Corps members to ascertain how they are faring and also to show them that they are still very much a part of the Lagos family inspite of their camping outside the State.

In like manner, he appreciated the Osun State Coordinator, Mr Ayodele Adegoke and camp officials for taking proper care of the corps members, and encouraged the corps members to be diligent and committed to the service of their country.

He concluded his address by speaking on the upcoming carnival which he says is to encourage and show Nigerians that NYSC is a unifying point and a place of fostering unity amongst us, therefore he urged everyone to participate in all the activities and promote unity among all ethnic groups.

Earlier, the NYSC Osun State Coordinator, Mr Ayodele Adegoke expressed his delight at the existing partnership with his counterpart from Lagos which has led to all round positive development of young people.

He encouraged all corps members therefore to abide by all the life lessons they have learnt on camp in order to make a fruitful future for themselves.
