ADEGOKE PLEDGES CONTINUOUS SUPPORT TO SWAO AS NEW DIRECTOR EMERGES
The NYSC Osun State Coordinator, Mr Ayodele Adewale Adegoke has pledged the continuous support of himself and his entire team to the NYSC South West Area Office even as it gets a new director to pilot the affairs of NYSC in the region.
Mr Adegoke made this known on Monday while addressing principal officers at the South West Area Office(SWAO) Osogbo during the hand over and send forth ceremony of the outgoing Director SWAO, Mr Emmanuel Danjuma Attah who before the change has served efficiently as director with visible results as prove of his effective stewardship.
Adegoke appreciated Mr Attah for his unending commitment to duty and the virtues he has instilled in all his principal officers which has molded them into becoming better representatives of the scheme and therefore wished him well even as he embarks on a new journey. He also assured the incoming Director, Mrs Olufunmilayo Akin-Moses of a memorable time in office.
The out going Director has expressed his delight at the opportunity given to him to lead an amiable team of willing workers in the region and expressed his sincere gratitude to all State coordinators in the region for their labour of love which has helped to foster successive years of fruitful partnership and urged them never to relent in their duties.
Furthermore, Attah spoke on the need to leave a lasting legacy as it is the only way to have one’s footprints in the sand of time. According to him, team spirit is one of the proven ways of achieving set goals and therefore encouraged all present to imbibe it.
In like manner, the incoming Director, Mrs Olufunmilayo Akin-Moses has highlighted the ambience of Osun State as a reason she is excited to assume her new role and promised to do her best possible to lead effectively.
Other highlights of the events include; testimony session by principal officers on the character and quality of leadership of mr Attah with all affirming his firmness and doggedness in achieving the task at hand and also presentation of gift to the outgoing Director, Mr Attah for a job well done.
Other Southwest State coordinators and Principal officers of the scheme joined the program virtually.
