SECURITY IS EVERYONE'S BUSINESS- MR DANJUMA TELLS PROSPECTIVE CORPS MEMBERS

 

Mr Danjuma Ibrahim, the Deputy Director of the Department of State Service, Osun State Command, has told the 2021 Batch A stream 1 Prospective Corps Members that security is the business of everyone as it is our collective responsibility to ensure that our nation is safe.

He stated this while addressing the Prospective Corps Members during the security lecture at the multipurpose hall of the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede on Friday.

According to Mr Danjuma, security consciousness is paramount for human survival and must be prioritized as we serve our fatherland.

He warned the Prospective Corps Members not to be careless about their safety and take right measures at all times to remain safe.

He further explained that citizens can only pursue their interest in a tranquil environment and as such they must seek to always sustain peace.

Again, he implored the members to avoid unfamiliar territories, report any suspicious movements around you to security operatives. You must be at alert at all times, ha added.

In concluson, he admonished that crowded areas should be avoided as well as late night movements.
