THE SERVICOM EMPOWERS PEOPLE TO SERVE BETTER -MR FAGBEMI

The NYSC Osun State Schedule Officer for Servicom, Mr Fagbemi Gbenga, at a sensitization lecture of the 2021 Batch A stream 1 prospective corps members on Servicom, explained that Servicom equips corps members for a profitable service year.

 According to Mr Fagbemi, the establishment of Servicom over the years has proven to be an avenue for raising diligent workers who ensure the smooth running of government and society at large. 

Again, he informed prospective corps members that to be effective in service delivery, adequate consultation with professionals with higher expertise than them must be done to avoid avoidable pitfalls.

Speaking further, he highlighted the principles of Servicom as: commitment to duty, consideration for others by offering selfless service, dedication to service and effectiveness in all we do. He stressed that honesty in service delivery is sacrosanct.

 

Challenges, he opined, will come their way in the course of their service to the nation. He however assured them that through the instrumentality of the Servicom complaints, request and difficulties will be tackled  in no time.

 

 Strict caution was given to PCMs to avoid all forms of indiscipline and to follow the NYSC rules to the letter.

According to him, unity is the only way to progress and as such, they must refrain from every form of religious and ethic bigotry.
