IT IS YOUR RIGHT TO BE HAPPY – CAMP DIRECTOR

The Camp Director Mr Musa Abdulrasheed has told the Batch A Stream 1 Prospective Corps Members that it is their right to be happy irrespective of what life has thrown at them.

He said this at the welcome Party on Saturday at the Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede. The event kick started social activities on camp.

Speaking further, he stressed that the welcome party is a long age tradition which brings about better social interactions and helps to relieve stress accumulated across the orientation exercise.

Again, he told PCMS that the welcome party serves as a curtain raiser for all social activities on camp. He therefore encouraged everyone present to participate fully in all the activities on camp.

The dance floor was opened with camp officials taking the stage after which inter platoon dance competition for both male and female categories was done. The party featured dance competition, drinking competition, and spin the bottle, among other exciting activities.

In the dance competition for the male category, representatives of Platoon 7 and 2 came second and first respectively. In the female category, representatives of Platoon 10, 4 and 7 came third, second and first respectively.

Again the drinking competition had representatives of Platoon 10 emerging as the first position, Platoon 4 for second and Platoon 7 for third while the Spin the bottle contest had the representatives of Platoon 10 emerging as overall winner with five spins.
