YOUR LEGACY WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN-ADEGOKE.

 

The Osun state NYSC Coordinator Mr Adegoke Adewale Ayodele has said that the legacy left by 2020 Batch 'A' Editorial CDS group corps members will not been forgotten as they have deemed it necessary in fulfilling one of Cardinal programmes of the National Youth Service Corps by donating directional sign post to the secretariat for easy accessibility for general publics

    Speaking  further the  NYSC Boss  appreciated the corps members for their selfless service to the scheme, the people of Osun and Nigeria at large.

"I really appreciate you all for working relentlessly in ensuring that you impacted positively to the development of the scheme and the country at large despite the effect of COVID-19 pandemic during your service year", he said. 

In the same vein,he charged the corps members to utilize the skills they acquired through the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) to promote and build the country and the state they may find themselves in future as he officially commissioned the sign post.

Earlier, the Head of Press and Public Relations Unit, NYSC Osun, Mrs Funmi Okundaye commended the efforts of the corps members, describing them as unique corps members working tirelessly to ensure they promote the image of the scheme and the country.

She Equally, urged the corps members to keep up the good works and continue to be good ambassadors of the scheme, their parents and the country.

 Meanwhile,the Editor of the Editorial Board CDS, Mr Okolo Valentine Osondu, who spoke on behalf of the CDS group said that the sign post is channeled towards improving the visibility of the NYSC State Secretariat and make it easier for visitors and commuters to locate the building. 

He further appreciated the scheme for giving them the opportunity to serve and discover their potentials promising that they will continue to work with knowledge inculcated in them by the scheme in Nation Building. 

Present at the occasion are; Assistant Director,SAED,Mrs Olufunmilayo Femi-Ajayi ,Assistant Director HRM,Mrs Mary Adebesin,Assistant Director Community Development Service , Mr Ayibiowu Felix, Assistant Director Corps Inspection and Monitoring; Mr Fatogun Jimmy and other key Staffs of the scheme in the state.
