OKUNDAYE ENLIGHTENS CORPS MEMBERS ON THE FUNCTIONS OF THE PPR UNIT

 

The Assistant Director  Press and Public Relations Unit, NYSC Osun State, Mrs Funmi Okundaye, has sensitized the 2020 Batch B Stream 2 Corps members on the duties of the Press and Public Relations Unit.

According to her, the PPR Unit is responsible for projecting the image of the scheme positively, in house journal publications, handling protocol matters and the media.

She further made it known that the unit is equally responsible for the production of corps members ID and charged them to keep their ID cards safe. She stressed that the NYSC ID card speaks volume of them and can save them from embarrassment. 

Subsequently, she told the corps members that the scheme has given them ample platforms for self actualization and development. One of which is the opportunity to participate in the production of the yearly and quarterly publications of the scheme through their articles and news reports. She encouraged those with journalistic skills to endeavor to submit their vital write ups or articles channeled towards Nation Building through the Press and Public Relations Unit for publication.
