"DO NOT DEFACE YOUR NYSC UNIFORM"- CAMP DIRECTOR

 

The NYSC Osun State Camp Director, Mr Aleshinloye Adeniyi has warned the 2020 Batch B Stream 2 prospective corps members against defacing their NYSC uniform. 

He stated this while addressing the prospective corps members during the second morning meditation at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede, on Thursday.

According to Mr Adeniyi, NYSC uniform is meant to be respected and honoured.

"defacing the uniform is highly prohibited both on camp and during the service year,

"Anyone found with defaced NYSC uniform will be punished accordingly", he added.

Speaking further, he charged the corps members to always wash their hands with soap and water before entering the parade ground and when leaving the parade ground, as this is in line with NCDC protocols channeled towards keeping everyone on camp safe. 

Meanwhile, Dr. Ahmed who also addressed the corps members on the importance of healthy living and compliance to COVID-19 preventive protocols emphasized on need for the corps members to adhere to the COVID-19 preventive protocols and also aid in sensitizing those around them on the need to adhere preventive protocols and stay safe.

Subsequently, he told the corps members that the COVID-19 test they did before entering the camp does not guarantee their safety, hence they should be more careful and observe the protocols strictly.
