CULTIVATE THE CULTURE OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INCOME GENERATION: ADEGOKE

 

The NYSC Osun State Coordinator, Mr Ayodele Adegoke has implored the 2020 Batch B Stream 2 corps members to cultivate the culture of entrepreneurship and income generation in order to contribute their quota to the socio-economic development of the country.

He stated this at the flag off of the in-camp training of the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) for the 2020 Batch B stream 2 corps members  at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede, on Tuesday.

According to Mr Adegoke, in order to cope with the challenges of unemployment the members have to embrace the spirit of entrepreneurship and equip themselves with necessary skills capable of making them self reliant and game changers in the business world and in the nation's economy.

He further stated that SAED is created to reduce the rate of unemployment and underemployment as he declared the programme open.

Earlier, the Head of SAED, NYSC Osun State, Mrs Femi-Ajayi Olufunmilayo urged the corps members to pick a skill that will benefit them and suit their desires in order to achieve their goals.

She further told them to put in their best in order to learn what will help them now and in the future.

"Put in your best in the training in order to take something tangible home", she concluded.
